Coronavirus (COVID-19) update 29.3.2020
The clinic is only open to very acute / emergency / urgent cases, key workers and others who need treatment in order to do their jobs / support others who are helping the country cope or who are caring for others.
During this emergency period, no one can leave the place they are living without ‘reasonable excuse’. In the government’s guidance, a reasonable excuse includes the need to seek medical assistance from a defined list of medical or health services, and this list includes osteopaths.
Although this latest government guidance allows osteopaths to continue to practise, please do consider making use of my video appointment service (via Skype / FaceTime, Zoom)
I am following both the updated government guidance and updating my position about practice in line with that of government as it changes
Video appointments (via Skype / FaceTime and other platforms if necessary) and telephone consultations are recommended for those need an assessment / initial consultation / have exercises checked and modified / want home care advice.
To arrange this, please call on 01494 434 651 or fill in this contact link
Treating in person will be a joint decision based on my professional clinical judgement and you, the patient – so I am triaging all patients over the phone in order to determine if a face to face appointment might be necessary, or if a video consultation will be sufficient.
